A Very Rich Life (part un)

This past month has been an incredibly busy one for me, but I’m definitely not complaining!  In the past four weeks, I’ve travelled throughout the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.  It’s been the perfect post-classes, pre-dissertation break.

My adventures started just before Easter when my best friend, Brittany, and her husband, Joe, came to visit!  It was such a joy having them here, especially since it gave me an excuse to play tourist in my own home.  Unfortunately, our weather didn’t play nice.  It actually snowed while they were here!  But Brittany and Joe were very good sports.  Disregarding the weather, we visited Windsor and Cambridge.  We also spent time at sites like Westminster, Tower of London, and Covent Garden right here in London, but didn’t stop there.  We took the train and ferry over to Dublin, spent a few days there, flew to Edinburgh, spent another couple of days, flew to Paris, spent even more time, and finally hopped on the train back to London.

It couldn’t have been more perfect timing for Joe and Brittany, since they have both me and our mutual friend, Courtney, studying in London right now and… they’ll be welcoming their own little princess come September.  Having them here was a real treasure and it definitely hurt to say goodbye.  What’s an even stranger thought is that the next time I see them they won’t be alone!

For now, I've got hundreds of pictures to remind me of our good times! Here's a few of them.
